Job Requirements:
Duties:
Manage the companies Compliance Program including due diligence, compliance monitoring, and training pertaining to RegA and RegD funds

Review of Accredited/Non-Accredited investor and running AML/KYC checks

Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risks. Develop corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues; provide guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.

Create, maintain, and manage existing Compliance Policies and Procedures

Develop reporting for the Compliance Committee and compliance-related reporting for the Board's Risk Committee.

Review advertisements, new product materials, and website changes for compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Assists department managers in ensuring activities related to compliance run smoothly and efficiently through leadership efforts.

Provides support and guidance for compliance efforts through working groups both internally and externally.

Assists with corporate and LP formation, organization, and preparation of legal documents.

Ensure accurate and timely review, execution and filing of all corporate compliance and governance documents.

Assist attorneys in evictions, lawsuits, and other similar tasks that arise

Manages transactions of 1031 exchanges

Prepare, review, and revise Joint Venture or Hard Money Loan contracts

Skills/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree is required

Minimum 5 years of current compliance and legal related experience

Paralegal experience highly recommended

Good balance between operational and legal compliance experience

Excellent analytical skills and ability to accurately interpret complex documents

Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suites

Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently with regulators, business people, attorneys and the public

Analyze facts and make sound decisions based on evidence presented and applicable regulations and laws, while provide advice and recommendations to department heads
