Job Description:
This position will be responsible for leading a variety of
projects and day-to-day company operations including, but not
limited to: --- POS, Direct Sales, and Channel Inventory
Analysis--- Review contracts, purchase orders to ensure any special
terms are identified prior to order processing--- Perform data
entry duties regarding orders, metrics, sales figures, and other
key data--- Support reporting out for rolling 6-month
forecasting--- Compile weekly lists of leads and delegating them to
sales team associates--- Ensure timely and accurate lead and
opportunity routing to help accelerate sales--- Maintain an
accessible and organized filing system for sales and administrative
professionals--- Gather and analyze sales and customer data---
Manage activities and produce & automate weekly, monthly, and
quarterly region reporting--- Work with Sales Operations Manager
and V.P, of Sales to define and create key metrics and actionable
plans for the Sales team--- Lead documentation and optimization of
sales processes (workflows, sales activities, lead generation,
conversation rates, email automation)--- Manage and own the
technologies and services used by the Sales Team (SalesForce,
NetSuite, BigCommerce, Tendata ect.) --- Present ideas and
recommendations, and continuously look for ways to improve sales
processes--- Research and introduce new sales methodologies as
applicable--- End of quarter support to include tracking
outstanding deals to close and coordinating accounting/shipping
details to close.--- Act as liaison between sales, accounting,
operations, order management--- Responsible for onboarding and
offboarding sales reps in systems and sales tools--- Perform other
related duties and departmental coverage as assigned Qualifications
and Education Requirements--- College degree with minimum of 2+
years of related experience, or 4 years of equivalent experience in
sales support/operations--- Strong understanding of the sales
process (Quote, order, delivery flow) to support the sales team---
Experience working with sales teams, and B2B customers and
understand lead to cash flow--- Appreciates the urgency of the work
and quarterly sales schedules.--- Understands the implications of
the work and how it affects revenue goals and customer
satisfaction; makes recommendations for solutions.--- Analytical
skills to interpret sales data to make suggestions on how to
improve the sales process--- Excellent in Excel is a must to be
able to interpret data and make recommendations--- Clear
communication and the ability to explain concepts in simple terms
are used to help the customer work through problems and accurately
describe products--- Uses critical and creative thinking to
identify and resolve issues with products and orders.--- Familiar
with writing procedure documents that can be shared and used with
the team for reference and/or training.--- Team player and
self-motivated--- Solid presentation skills--- Proactive and
possess strong interpersonal and communication skills--- Analytical
& problem-solving skillsPreferred Experience: --- Working knowledge
of solar industry/market (Distribution current market, customers,
suppliers, and competitors)--- Customer service or inside sales
experience--- Advanced skills with Excel and data manipulation---
Order Management Software experience--- System knowledge: NetSuite,
SalesForce, BigCommerceOther:--- Other duties as assigned
