NVOCC Operations - Customer Service



This position is domiciled in City of Industry, CA


Salary: $33,600 - $72,000/yr




This is a Freight Forwarding/NVOCC Customer Service position. We require candidates to have a minimum of 2 - 5 years experience in the NVOCC industry and a solid background in Freight Forwarding and Ocean Import/Export.

  Position Overview:
  
  
  The Customer Service Representative is responsible for interacting directly with customers via phone and email, processing orders, and coordinating with our warehouse teams to ensure excellent customer service is provided to our customers.
  
  
  
  Requirements:
  
  • Must have NVOCC background
    
  • Previous experience in Freight Forwarding and Ocean Import/Export required
    
  • Ability to anticipate customer needs and develop appropriate solutions
    
  • Eager to serve customers and dive into problem-solving
    
  • Detail-oriented to ensure accuracy on all customer orders and responses to customer inquiries
    
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
    
  • FreightStream software a plus
