Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Retirement, the Vice President, Sales Strategy & Marketing is considered the "sales champion", responsible for building the sales culture and is the functional leader for all sales personnel across the organization. S/he will be responsible for the development and motivation of a "best in class" Revera sales force and participates in setting rates as well as annual revenue and occupancy goals. The Vice President, Sales Strategy & Marketing takes joint ownership for achieving the annual revenue, REVPAS and occupancy goals.

  • Internal: SC's, ED's, RDO's, VPO's Key Responsibilities:
    • To develop and execute annual sales strategies, action plans and budgets;
    • To develop and execute corporate & local marketing budgets
    • To enhance and manage Revera sales standards and operating procedures;
    • To oversee and drive the development and execution of the regional sales and marketing/segmentation plans;
    • To support and partner with the Vice President, Sales & Operations
    • To support and coach the Regional Directors of Sales and Marketing;
    • To enhance and evolve the Revera Sales Training program;
    • To provide in-field sales support and coaching to Executive Directors and Sales Consultants;
    • To lead the ongoing assessment and enhancement of required sales tools
    • To review, refine and communicate sales reporting against budget;
    • To manage the annual sales recognition, incentive and bonus plans;
    • To lead, champion and present sales strategy and content as required;
    • To oversee the SLA team and drive the Trusted Advisor Experience
    • To oversee the Marketing team to maximize brand awareness, lead generation and sales conversion
    • To improve industry and community relations as a Revera ambassador;
    • To identify needs, troubleshoot and provide residence support to exceed sales occupancy plan;
    • Uphold and promote the organization's values and philosophy relating particularly to ethics, morality, and integrity as set out in Revera's Code of Conduct;
      Required Education, Credentials and Experience:
      • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business, marketing or a related field;
      • MBA is considered an asset;
      • Experience in strategic planning and execution;
      • Experience in negotiating and change management;
      • Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue /REVPAS expectations;
      • Ability to travel as required;
      • Ability to lead by example;
      • Experience in sales & marketing strategies and plans;
      • Demonstrable focus on results
      • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills; experience managing/supporting a large team
      • Excellent interpersonal and people management skills; strong communicator and presenter
      • Accountability: Takes ownership and holds self and others accountable to deliver high quality, timely and cost effective results.
