This position will report to the Production Superintendent.The Production Technician will be responsible for ensuring production requirements are met and that the facility is operated in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner. This is a front-line operations role that will respond to unplanned events, work independently, and make technical decisions and recommendations to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of the facility. This position requires a combination of office and field work.Primary Responsibilities:

• Coordinates closely with other operators and management
• Maintains compliance with all applicable regulatory, policy, and internal engineering standards
• Collaborates with support teams for technical assistance
• Maximizes efficiency and operating capacity of the plants
• Troubleshooting plant process & equipment problems and implementing solutions
• Maintains QA program, facilitates customer and corporate audits
• Supports fillzone activities including the filling of trucks, offloading of railcars, and all applicable QA items
• Is available for on-call duties per pre-determined schedule with other technicians
• Maintains documentation of equipment and process through workorders, QA, etc.
• Responsible for safe startup and shutdown of all process equipment and understanding of emergency proceduresQualifications:
  • 3+ years of relevant management/industry experience (preferred)
  • Experience with installation and troubleshooting of industrial equipment.
  • Working knowledge of Hazardous Work Permits and Lock out Tag out
  • Excellent quick thinking and team interaction skills
  • Self-starter who is comfortable working independently, effectively manages multiple tasks and achieves results with minimal supervision.
  • Must have a positive attitude, be willing to quickly adapt to changing situations, have strong communications skills, and a strong will to build and maintain productive relationships across departmental lines.
