The Sr. Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will work with a team of other technology and business professionals in an agile/iterative environment to implement strategies and operational plans for complex enterprise projects. These strategies will leverage platform technologies such as Salesforce.com (SFDC), Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Veeva, Adobe, Datorama, Informatica, AWS, and other platforms. - The Sr. BSA will be accountable for analyzing business requirements, translating use cases/user stories supporting the business requirements into technical specifications. The technical teams can be cross functional and you will partner with them to implement use cases/user stories, testing use cases/user stories, and assisting with production deployments including post-launch validation. You will be a technical analyst for various platform technologies who can also be hands-on to provide basic configuration support, ad-hoc reporting, data migration/cleansing, and supporting QA in each project implementation. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate requirement gathering and design sessions with multiple stakeholders in configuring and development of our platforms for the purpose of turning them into technical specifications for the development teams
  • Translate marketing campaign requirements into business rule definitions, business process documentation, and technical requirements for campaign specialists and/or development team. Including Data Fit Gap Analysis, Data Flow Mapping and Data Governance
  • Bridge communication and ensure alignment between business and IT, ensuring common understanding of both functional and non-functional requirements such as reporting, campaign journey design, data compliance and performance
  • Create concise, quality documentation for requirements and system design that supports business and technical team requirements
  • Documenting and developing current as well as future state process flows
  • Assist system administrators across multiple platforms in minor configuration changes, process flow design and building reports/dashboards
  • Conduct post campaign analysis, campaign pre-planning, or ad hoc analysis in BI tools such as Tableau/Datorama/GA; in some cases prepare Excel-based reports as required for stakeholders
  • Support data processes through data extracts, data imports and integrations to ensure data quality
  • Support data governance processes through data management practices of deduplication, merging and cleansing of data
  • Create segmentation, audiences and list selections in BI and marketing applications
  • Maintain strong industry knowledge on emerging standards and best practices in CRM and digital marketing space
  • Develop, maintain and perform processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
  • Create test plans, review test protocols and/or provide inputs to test planning and execution to support QA
  • Work with Release Manager, manage the release of enhancement requests and communication/release notes
  • Create a traceability matrix for requirements and project deliverables Qualifications:
    • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skill, including negotiation and team collaboration
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Management or related discipline or equivalent and 5+ years of direct experience
    • Experience with Agile delivery methods is required
    • Experience in use case modelling is required
    • Experience working with media and marketing data; inputting and export data, building reports/dashboards within Datorama or similar BI tools
    • Knowledge of SDLC specifically in requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and support
    • Familiarity with Salesforce.com Integration components for Salesforce.com (SFDC) such as SFDC data loader
    • Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud are required. Datorama, Informatica, AWS is a strong asset
