Year-round work that is not seasonal!RETENTION BONUS:New hires are eligible to receive $2,000+ bonus paid out during first 300 days of employment.PAY RATE + INCENTIVE PAY:AM ShiftDry/Chill $20.30 per hour + incentive up to $3.25 per hourFreezer $22.30 per hour + incentive up to $3.25 per hourPM ShiftDry/Chill $20.80 per hour + incentive up to $3.25 per hourFreezer $22.80 per hour + incentive up to $3.25 per hourOutbound Loaders are eligible to receive incentive pay up to $3.25 per hour. Incentive pay is determined by total weekly performance.SCHEDULE:AM Shift - 6:00am to 2:30pm (Overtime will vary)Days off Fri/Sat or Sun/MonPM Shift - 4:00pm to 12:30am (Overtime will vary)Days off Mon/Sat, or Tues/Sat, or Wed/Sat, or Thu/SatPOSITION SUMMARY:Move pallets of product from dock/staging area onto trucks and/or containers. This position is normally filled internally.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Load trucks and containers with pallets of product, using a forklift or pallet jack while ensuring integrity of loadRF gun experience Stacking of product on palletsWrapping palletsPallet exchangesLoad diagrams and check off sheetsInterface with shipping and receiving personnelInterface with driversResponsible for the housekeeping/sanitation of working areasOther duties as assignedJOB REQUIREMENTS:Education: High School diplomaExperience: Six months verifiable grocery picking experience and forklift certification preferably in a grocery warehouse environment. Must have completed the introductory period and be in good standingKnowledge: Good reading, writing, math and computer skills.Skills and Abilities: Must have good motor skills, spatial skills and cognitive ability.Union Membership: Position is a Union position and requires membership with Teamsters.
