seeking an experienced Data Analyst to assist them with a critical
project. This is a fully remote 6 mo+ contracting/Contract-to-hire
engagement with a well-established Healthcare company.Overview:Our
client's Enterprise Data Services team provides critical enabling
technology solutions to support their mission to redefine health
care management through improved quality and efficient delivery of
care. As a Data Analyst, you will help ensure the integrity of
their data is being maintained while serving as part of a
fast-paced multifunctional Agile team working to continuously
refine and expand an innovative software product portfolio that
offers a broad range of management services to health care
providers.The Data Analyst will be fluent in documenting,
understanding, and working with data from various CDOs, using SSIS
for ETL, and warehousing concepts, as well as using SSIS to import
data into their data warehouse system. This entails using SSMS to
access data, write stored procedures, and investigate data
issues.Responsibilities:
- Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements
- Develop and unit test ETL processes to facilitate the movement
of data throughout the organization
- Apply mapping requirements to transform and load procedures in
order to process inbound and outbound files
- Conform to industry best practices for code construction,
software security, data security, scalability, and performance
- Assist in the continuous development of best practices for all
ETL related activities, including data movement, data quality, and
data cleansing Qualifications:
- Four-year degree in a related field or equivalent
experience
- 4+ years of ETL experience using SQL Server Integration
Services
- 3+ years of development experience including full life cycle
activities
- 3+ years of experience with databases, SQL
- Experience in SQL Server Integration Services 2013 and
above
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Experience using database query tools (e.g. SQL Server
Management Studio, Oracle SQL Developer)
- Experience working with SQL Server 2017 or laterRequirements:
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) 2013
required
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) 2019
preferred
- Strong analytical skills
- Thorough troubleshooting and debugging skills required
- Experience documenting and executing test cases
- Proficient in performing SQL queries (T-SQL) against SQL Server
and Oracle databases
- Familiar with utilities to facilitate file level
validation
- Ability to proactively monitor ETL processes and recommend
implementation improvements
- Ability to create a source to target mapping document
- Knowledge of Microsoft Visio, Project, and Office (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Experience working with health care data preferred
- Experience with Tableau, SnowFlake, and Kafka is highly
desired
- Experience documenting and executing test cases
