Job Description:

Construction Loan ProcessorSummary To facilitate the disbursement process on all constructions loan funded by the Bank. This involves coordination of inspection reports with Banks Construction Services Department and verification that all appropriate support documentation has been provided by the borrower and/or contractor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  • Complies with and stays abreast of all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job.
  • Provide, present and promote The Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers.
  • Log in all disbursement requests.
  • Control coordination of disbursement assignments to other associates in the department.
  • Post disbursement requests to spreadsheet.
  • Verify receipt of appropriate invoices, lien releases and W-9s.
  • Coordinate inspections with Construction Services Department.
  • Follow-up with customer and/or contractor to obtain any documents missing from draw requests.
  • Review draw requests and inspection report with account officer; identify any deficiencies.
  • Prepare cashiers checks and fund draw upon approval by account officer.
  • Follow-up with title company for various documentation needed to sup[port draw requests (i.e. Notice of Completion, re-write policies, recordation of mechanics lien releases, etc.)
  • Maintain Construction Draw Report daily and provide copy to Department Manager on a monthly basis.
  • Coordinate monthly Cashiers Check Certifications.
  • Notary duties as needed.
  • Back-up Administrative Assistant.
  • Other duties may be assigned.Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Excel spreadsheet software, Word Processing software, Premier, Outlook, CLS and ECL (fund control software for disbursements).Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Notary PublicPhysical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
