Job Title Automation Maintenance Technician Job Description If you are a Colorado resident and this role is a field-based or remote role, you may be eligible to receive additional information about the compensation and benefits for this role, which we will provide upon request. In this role, you have the opportunity to Perform routine diagnostic checks and preventative maintenance on automated systems, isolating problems and performing mechanical, electronic, and computerized repairs. You are responsible for * Working closely with Engineers to make adjustments, upgrades and improvements on automated equipment. * Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with systems, and determining if the problem is mechanical, electrical or from the computer systems controlling the process. * Repairing or replacing any necessary components, such as a sensor or electrical wiring and implementing solutions that will prevent the problems from recurring. * Assembling and commissioning fixtures, equipment, machines, and robotic equipment. * Assisting with applications development, as needed. * Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues; adjusting when needed. * Utilizing mills, lathes, drill presses, welding, soldering, and cutting equipment for material fabrication. * Maintaining, servicing and documenting equipment changes and providing assembly feedback to engineering teams. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience * Associates degree in automation technology or mechatronics or holds a technical certificate in electronics or mechanical engineering (required) * 3+ years of hands on experience troubleshooting and maintaining automated equipment * Strong math and analytic skills to understand automated systems and isolate problems * Proficient with various instruments and hand tools, such as electrical multimeters * Knowledge of materials and fabrication utilizing mills, lathe, drill press, welding, soldering, and cutting equipment * Familiarity with controls and software concept * Strong problem solving skills with the ability to thrive in ambiguity * US work authorization is a precondition of employment.
