Combined with our industry leading, patented, and proprietary On-Site Chiller Services and Global Energy Services we lead the way in lifecycle management of refrigerants and our commitment to the environment.Position Overview The Service Technician is responsible for performing contract service work for Hudson customers on large industrial refrigeration and cooling systems (e.g. Chillers) located at their facility Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Perform service work on heavy equipment to optimize machine performance, refrigerant recovery, and refrigerant handling
• System work includes some Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Soldering, Brazing, Welding and Industrial Refrigeration and Cooling Systems depending on the job requirements.
• Travels directly to any job site or the company shop at any time, as arranged by the Service Manager
• Handles shipping and receiving of products
• Handles refrigerant recovery and conducts refrigerant sampling
• Maintains service equipment in good working order
• May supervise Junior Service Technicians
• Assists Engineering with special projects as needed Required Skills and Experience:
• Minimum 10 years of experience in relevant field
• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Experience working with Industrial Cooling and Refrigeration Systems

• Experience working with Hazardous Materials (Refrigerants)
• Familiarity with proper handling of high-pressure gases
• Universal Refrigeration Handling Certification preferred
  • Ability to work with and maneuver some heavy equipment and hoses, etc. required to perform the job
  • Clean professional appearance required
  • Demonstrable written and verbal communications skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office software
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
  • Position is based in S.California, but may require extensive travel within or outside the state.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 50% potentially including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • CDL B Driver's License preferred
  • Clean driving record
