Rezolut Imaging is looking for a Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist to join our team!If your looking for Part time our current need is from 4pm- 8pm.Who is Rezolut?Rezolut is a national emerging platform of diagnostic medical imaging services. With a focus on four key platforms, our vision is to provide top-notch patient care partnered with innovative technology to achieve better health outcomes.ResponsibilitiesThis person will perform NucMed / PET procedures. Positions and instructs the patient, operates imaging equipment, and determines the technical factors. Ensure correct marketing/labeling of all images. Adheres compliance to the State of California Radiation Safety Regulations and Federal Drug Administration regulations. Provides and confirms proper documentation of procedures requested/performed, patient history, etc. to assist in diagnosis. Perform organ imaging tests including full skeletal, cardiac blood pool, and major vascular blood pool testsConsistently perform complex examinations and procedures, including injecting radiopharmaceuticals under the direct supervision of a radiologist Monitor the patient to check for unusual reactions to the drugsOperate equipment that creates images of areas in the body, such as images of organsExamine machines to ensure that they are working properlyKeep detailed records of proceduresExplain test procedures and safety precautions to patients and provide them with assistance during procedures Attain required approval and signature by nuclear medicine physiciansQualifications for Nuclear Medicine TechnologistNuclear medical technological certification depending on state requirementsPrioritize work assignments and adjust tasks as neededAbility to maintain confidential patient informationEstablish and maintain effective relationships with customers and patients and gain their trust and respectDemonstrates flexibility to meet department needs as they varyAbility to work with minimum supervision within the guidelines set up by the departmentStrong oral and written communication skillsAble to communicate effectively in a caring and courteous mannerRequirementsState of California Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT)Valid State of California Radiologic Technology (CRT)Valid National Certification of Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMTCB)Valid State of California Fluoroscopy LicenseValid State of California Venipuncture/IV Contrast LicenseValid American Registry of Radiologic Technology Certification (ARRT)(N) and ARRT(R) or ARRT(CT)A minimum 2 years experience within the past 36 months performing Nuclear Medicine StudiesMinimum of 1-year experience performing PET/CTCPR For Healthcare Providers (AHA Approved Course)Job Types: Part-time, Per diemSchedule: Discussed upon the interview.Medical specialties: Nuclear MedicineRadiologyExperience: Medical Imaging: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification: BLS Certification (Preferred)ARRT Certification (Preferred)Work Location: In person at Shin Imaging Buena Park, Centrelake Imaging Downey, and Centrelake Imaging Ontario locationsSalary Range:$35.00 To 60.00 HourlyJob Type: Part-timePay: $35.00 - $60.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceHealthcare setting:ClinicOutpatientMedical specialties:Nuclear MedicineRadiologySchedule:Evening shiftMonday to FridayWeekends as neededTravel requirement:Up to 25% travelExperience:Radiological Technologist: 1 year (Preferred)Nuclear Medicine Technologist: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:ARRT (Required)Work Location: In person#CentrelakeHPby Jobble
