Job Description:

Vaco is seeking a part time accounts payable speciaist for a client located in Ontario, CA. This opportunity is part-time. Monday-Thursday, 24 hours a week. Manufacturing industry experience is desiredAs an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of our clients organization. You will be responsible for processing invoices, both purchase order (PO) and non-PO invoices, accurately and efficiently. Additionally, you will manage payment processing in the system and handle vendor inquiries through the accounts payable email inbox.

• Key Responsibilities:
  • Invoice Processing: Review and process both PO and non-PO invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and compliance with company policies.
  • Payment Processing: Manage the end-to-end payment process, including preparing and scheduling payments in the system and ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
  • Vendor Communication: Handle vendor inquiries and address questions related to accounts payable, payments, and invoice status promptly and professionally.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Month-End Close: Assist in month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting as required.
  • Qualifications:
    • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role.
    • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, procedures, and principles.
    • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
