direction of the Bakery Director, this role leads the
Environmental, Health, and Safety, throughout the bakery location.
The EHS Supervisor ensures regulatory requirements for Safety,
Security, Environment, and Training are satisfied. This role
strives to continually processes and procedures to reduce the risk
associated with behaviors and conditions of employees, contractors,
and visitors of Aspire Bakeries. The EHS Supervisor receives
assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use
resources to meet schedules and goals. Recommends and implements
changes to Safety and Training programs that affect the immediate
organization. Manages the experience and impact of training in the
bakery, and works with the broader L&D team and the bakery
leadership team, to identify solutions to challenges. Marks of
success in this role, include maintaining the EHS program within
the bakery environment and where people are up-to-date on everyday
skills, stretching their capabilities with additional skills.
Responsibilities: Lead the development and implementation of strong
occupational health, safety, and training programs to create an
improved workplace environment. Maintains a high level of Safety
awareness and ensures consistency of programs by working with
Supervisors and Managers to effectively handle Safety and
training-related opportunities. Provides training guidelines for
company operations by reviewing current OSHA regulations and
designing effective training programs to meet compliance
requirements. Conduct regular Safety audits, to proactively
identify and evaluate hazards in the workplace and recommend
solutions to minimize or eliminate risk.
Develop a strong relationship and facilitate employee-led
behavior-based Safety process
Evaluates and provides guidelines on Safety equipment and supplies
according to ANSI standards. Research federal, state, and local
regulations to define existing and upcoming legal obligations
Performs on-site inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA and
coordinates Industrial Hygiene services such as noise levels,
equipment air quality, etc. Maintains training records and Safety
reports. Participates in periodic meetings with Safety committees
to recommend corrective actions regarding workplace Safety
procedures, perform facility audits, and discuss future Safety
projects. Responsible for implementing and coordinating all
emergency response measures including Emergency Response training
including First Aid, CPR, AED, and Bloodborne Pathogens. Support
all accident and near-miss investigations to uncover the root
causes and identify corrective actions. Follow through with
respective managers and employees on all safety-related
suggestions. Plan for, deliver, assess impact, and maintain
effective use of enterprise & local training programs and tools,
ensuring all bakery training needs are met. Ensure the associate
training experience is of high quality & effective. Build new or
improved bakery training solutions, in coordination with Regional
L&D Manager. Source & recommend local, and external training
resources that fit bakery needs. Track training outcomes, identify
trends & insights, and provide essential reports to bakery leaders.
Develop bakery people manager capabilities to reinforce and coach
training skills in their teams.
Develop bakery trainer capabilities to execute training
programs.Qualifications: A High School Diploma; or Equivalent is
required.Bachelor s degree or advanced certification in employee
development, or a related field preferred Minimum of 3-5 years
experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety. Minimum of 1-3
years advanced application of adult learning theory in project
design preferred Bilingual, English/Spanish preferred. Designed and
implemented a complex employee learning & development program
Proven experience in the completion of multiple training
topics/types in a manufacturing environment Experience in the food
manufacturing industry is desiredSalary Range: $48,000 -
$58,000Aspire Bakeries LLC values the contribution each Team Member

candidate s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors,
including, but not limited to location, shift, education, skill,
and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed
for this position is generally for candidates who meet the
specified qualifications and requirements listed In this specific
job description. Additional pay may be determined for those
candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and
