Job Description:

Responsibilities--- This position is for a 1st shift quality representative that can assure parts are made to blueprint specifications throughout the entire manufacturing process---The ideal individual will need to be familiar with team projects such as 6S, audits, continuous improvement, generating work instructions, and any other basic quality functions---Other duties may be assigned---Ensures parts meet customer requirements such as blueprints, sample parts and CAD.* Inspects trimmed parts to print---Inspects the paint and texture to approved chip.* Inspects packaging of finished products---Verifies part label and paperwork prior to shipping---Creates/controls quality and production documents
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily---Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience---Experience as a quality technician is required---Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos---Ability to write simple correspondence---Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization---Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals---Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs---Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions---Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations---Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office; Verisurf and internet software---The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds---Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
