looking for an IT Operations Engineer! Reporting to our Director of
IT, you will play a pivotal role on our IT Operations team in
crafting the experience of our employees, providing tier III
support to our IT Helpdesk, and enabling our success as a
distributed company. This is a proactive, hands-on position in a
fast-paced environment; you will be a key player in the planning,
design, and development of several technical areas including
end-user support, identity access management, endpoint security,
and infrastructure application support. You will have the
opportunity to work autonomously, lead technical procurement,
implement tools functional across departments, and work on projects
that will drive scalable changes across our growing organization.

you'll do
- Administer, keep up to date on new features and releases, and
identify opportunities for better automation or features on a wide
variety of SaaS applications (OKTA, Google Workspace, Slack, JIRA,
etc.)
- Seize opportunities across the IT Operations & Services teams
to eliminate manual work through tooling, integrations, and
automation.
- Analyze, suggest, and make improvements to existing processes,
as well as implement business processes where none exist.
- Work closely with our business analysts to identify and
implement process improvement opportunities via automation.
- Partner and collaborate with all business units to help
evaluate hardware and software solutions.
- Design, architect, implement, and maintain systems and
solutions for various IT-related topics; including but not limited
to staff computer hardware, operating systems, software
applications, networking, video conferencing, etc. You should have
- Prior success in supporting Apple hardware and software
- Experience in supporting cloud-based services and
infrastructure and have passion for building automation and
integrations between these services
- Deep knowledge of Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, JIRA,
Confluence, or similar cloud providers
- Experience in excelling at the highest level of IT function due
to the rapid growth of the company
- Previous experience with script execution and troubleshooting
(ex. Ruby, Bash, Python)
- Cloud native technology (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform,
etc)
- Shown understanding of mobile device management tools (ex. ABM,
Cisco Meraki, Jamf, DEP)
- A desire for providing stellar customer service
