to.Position Summary:As an active and integral member of the
Leadership team, the job holder is required to generate new
efficiencies of the General Medicine GBU in Canada to deliver new
Business value. unlocking new opportunities with an aim to improve
customer experience and to drive new growth.He/ She will focus
mainly on resource allocation to drive a sustained growth of
Business in the face of constant disruption, which requires agile
reinvention to continue evolving in future. A successful resource
allocation exercise entails new ways of working, transformation
initiatives and portfolio prioritization to generate current
efficiencies and future sustainability. Key Responsibilities:
- Resource allocation exercise to drive the Genmed vision and
Business Operating Income target across the Long-Range Plan.
Integral part of the full portfolio P&L management.
- Agile Transformation of the organization that encompass news
ways of working establishment and adoption.
- Design & plan the country GtM roadmap and ensure alignment with
overall ITG & Global GtM ambition.
- Lead implementation of transformation initiatives & ensure the
cascade of our GtM change story.
- Challenge an open discussion, bring in strategic view,
innovation, and expertise from internal/external sources.
- Pro-actively drive and enforce our Play to Win culture
change
- Engage with the leadership team to ensure alignment &
facilitate acceleration across franchises.
- Lead local squads and work closely with global cross-functional
transformation team (Medical, Marketing, Sales & BO&S teams)
with a can-do attitude to accelerate operational excellence.
- Understand the learnings & needs of customer facing structures
to support the mitigation of constraints and barriers.Project
Management
- Leading the resource allocation exercise across the portfolio
and take decision on portfolio prioritization and "where to
play".
- Overseeing large, often cross-functional strategic projects or
initiatives.
- Developing, adapting, and reviewing systems and processes to
streamline operations.
- Ensuring the documentation and transparency of key processes,
and adhering to basic knowledge management principles.Management,
Leadership and People Development
- Leadership on change management squad across the GBU to foster
the adoption of the new matrix and the new ways of working to
ensure alignment to the organization's strategic direction in
support of the key objectives.
- Promoting, through leadership, the values of Sanofi Canada and
the specific vision/ambition of the General Medicines
organization.
- Creating an inspirational environment that fosters learning,
entrepreneurial spirit, teamwork, empowerment, passion, respect and
trust.Maintain Compliance
- Abides by the requirements of the internal Code of Ethics
including but not restricted to maintaining high professional
standards of conduct in line with the Company procedure with a duty
of care to the reputation of the Company.
- Responsible for oversight and compliant leadership of all of
customer-facing activities, patient support and professional
relations.
- Strengthen company internal controls.Ethical Leadership
- Takes personal accountability to use personal experience and
knowledge, as well as the training and tools provided by Sanofi, to
maintain a good knowledge and understanding of all ethics and
governance relevant to the role (Sanofi Policies and Procedures and
any relevant legal requirements) and demonstrate personal
leadership in applying these to all work undertaken.
- Escalates any decisions, or seek the support of colleagues or
management if personal knowledge and understanding is not at the
level required to carry out any part of the role.Environmental and
Safety Leadership
- To care for his/her own safety and wellbeing and the safety of
others, and to co-operate with the company to ensure a safe place
of work.Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 3-5 years leading successful teams/projects.
- A graduate degree in business or related discipline.
- Experience in similar or comparable role.
- Experience should be in the following areas:
- Project Management (agile methodology is an asset)
- Cross-functional work
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Finance experiences an asset
- Marketing experiences an asset
- Strong leadership, leading by influence and in complex
environment.
- A strategic and thoughtful risk-taking ability.
- P&L experience with resource allocation initiatives, or
demonstrated capabilities to understand where to play.
- Talent experienced in transformation projects and /or change
management would be a plus.
- Project Management proficiency in an agile methodology / new
way of working.
- Analytics expertise & tech. basics (support KPI consolidation &
analysis, identify pain points & solutions, classify infrastructure
& mindset requirements).
- Strong collaboration skills with ability to leverage networks &
empower people.
- Ability to lead change while achieving business goals &
objectives - challenge the status quo.
- Display the Leadership Framework (Strategic Thinking, Result
Orientation, People leadership, Relationship and influence) & the 4
Play to Win Behaviors (Stretch, Take action, Patients & customers
orientation, Think One Sanofi).
- Self-sufficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Outlook).
- Use of project management tools (JIRA,---etc.) would be a
plus.Language Requirements:
