In-House Sales Representative

Job Description:

We are looking for a personable, result-driven *in-house Sales Representative* to generating leads and close sales. Your duties will be responsible for working closely with our clients to determine their needs, resolve their questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue. To be successful as a in-house Wholesale Sales Representative, you are passionate about building and maintaining strong relationships as well as stay up to date with product features. This position will require traveling to trade shows and pet stores/businesses. This position also requires you to be an animal lover who believes in helping the world become a cleaner place to live in with non-toxic and sustainable pet products.

*Responsibilities*
* Oversee and coordinate sales activity with the sales team & management
* Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
* Follow and achieve department's sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
* "Go the extra mile" to drive sales
* Track results and trends regularly for business forecasting
* Develop and execute innovative sales strategies
* Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
* Present, promote and sell products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
* Maintain up-to-date product knowledge to answer questions and provide solutions
* Prospect, contact, and schedule meetings and presentations with potential customers and clients in a timely manner
* Close sales effectively and efficiently
* Set follow-up appointments to keep clients aware of latest developments
* Create, plan, and deliver sales material to present to clients
* Work with marketing to achieve business goals
* Monitor competitor's activities to better understand market situation
* Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize sales efforts
* Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
* Market research for current and future products
* Work with EDI to achieve business goals

*Skills*
* Proven work experience as a sales representative
* Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms to build productive business professional relationships
* Ability to build rapport with clients and create/deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
* Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
* Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
* Strong leadership qualities with excellent customer service and people skills
* Energetic self-starter with a track record of determination, effort and achievement
* Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
* Works well in team environments
* Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
* Excel, Word, Power point

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:
* Bonus pay
