Job DescriptionRaymond Handling Solutions is looking for a Shop Utility Worker to join our winning team! This position is responsible for performing various shop duties as assigned to maintain the shop and warehouse facilities in good order. Assists and provides back-up for the Warehouse Inventory Control Clerk.Essential Functions:Load and unload equipment on to delivery truckDump oil from shop and crush oil filtersPuncture spray cans for disposalPerform shipping and receiving functions at dockMake sure all trucks in warehouse and shop are properly tagged.Keep equipment parked in designated areas within the shopInventory supplies, tools and materials.Steam cleans various pieces of equipment.Keep warehouse floors cleanKeep renewed isle and demo isle clean trucks straight and dusted.Empty trash receptacles as needed.Assist technicians with minor repairs.Deliver and receive parts when needed.Keep Shop area clean and organized. Perform miscellaneous jobs as needed.Ensure everything is secured at the end of every day.Must follow all procedures in the company's Employee Handbook.Must follow safety procedures and use good judgment regarding safety.Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned by the Shop Supervisor.Education/Experience:Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. This position requires some type of mechanical experience or training. Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner. Position requires a clean DMVThis position requires someone who is self-motivated and able to manage time efficiently, willing to comply with employee handbook, safety and shop policies, possess good organizational skills and able to take direction. This position must be able to communicate effectively in person, in writing and via telephone.Physical Requirements:The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. It does not involve performing the activities while the whole body is in motion. The ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine or a vehicle to exact positions. The ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted. The ability to communicate clearly with or without aid. The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position. The ability to lift 25 - 50 lbs. continuously.
