Job DescriptionApplication Security professionals sell, assess, define, implement and/or support world-class security, for Accenture or our clients, spanning simple IT projects to large-scale, enterprise-level transformation programs.The Application Security National Lead sells, leads, assesses, defines, implements and/or supports Application Security and DevSecOps programs for our clients. Engagements span from simple IT projects to large-scale, enterprise-level transformation programs. Lead teams and provide consultative solutions to help implement client SDLC and DevSecOps capabilities to enable secure product development. Conduct methodology and architecture security assessments and define solutions to produce tailored DevSecOps platforms and operating models inclusive of target state people, processes, and technologies. A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:--- Leads and grows the Application security team and services in Canada--- Helps our clients build effective Secure SDLC Programs and achieve the benefits that DevSecOps can offer--- Leverage skills, experience and expertise to serve clients in a consultative role as well as in a technical capacity--- Oversee the design, implementation and ongoing operation DevSecOps platforms, which covers areas such as integrating security into build automation, deployment automation, test automation, SDLC orchestration, environment management, monitoring, and production release procedures--- Mentor, coach, supervise and develop team members in the application security domain--- Promote a DevSecOps culture in our clients--- Drive adoption of DevSecOps principles, tools and practices as the client transitions to DevSecOps--- Direct all aspects of DevSecOps planning, implementation and run operations--- Able to apply knowledge and experience in a waterfall development lifecycle where warranted--- Partner with Senior Leaders and Account Team members to support business development activities in DevSecOps--- Support recruiting efforts to identify, interview and hire talented professionals into the DevSecOps domainQualifications Basic Skills--- Minimum of 8 years' experience working in Application Security--- Minimum of 5 years' experience managing medium to large sized teams and projects--- Minimum of 1 of the following: o 5 years of experience working with SAST, DAST, and/or Penetration Testing Toolso 5 years of experience working in an Agile development environment, with an end-to-end understanding of the SDLCo 5 years of hands-on experience with DevOps CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Ant/Maven/Gradle, Nexus/Artifactory, SonarQube, Puppet/Chef/Ansible --- Minimum Bachelor---s degree. A Bachelor of Science in a technical concentration (Math, Engineering, Computer Science) is preferred, but non-technical degrees are acceptable with sufficient practical experience in Computer Science--- Ability to travel up to 100%, but more typically Monday through Thursday at client locations as required.Preferred Skills--- Software application development experience, preferably Web application development --- Experience with Lean, Agile and/or DevOps methodologies--- Experience performing application security assessments that involve threat modeling, security testing, and vulnerability management and remediation--- Familiar with software security frameworks and maturity models (BSIMM, OpenSAMM, etc.)--- Industry recognized certification in security (e.g., CISSP, CSSLP, CASE, CEH, etc.) --- Bonus --- Exposure to one or more of the following technologies: cloud computing, application containers such as Docker or OpenShift, Infrastructure-as-Code, microservices, identity and access management, secrets management such as HashiCorp VaultProfessional Skill Requirements --- Proven success in leading teams and contributing to a team-oriented environment --- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment --- Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong, collaborative and long-lasting relationships at all levels within Accenture and our clients--- Able to meet requirements for retaining professional security certifications --- Demonstrated leadership and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilianOur Commitment to Inclusion & DiversityAt Accenture, inclusion and diversity are fundamental to our culture and embedded in our core values.
