The Yard Driver provides support for trailer movements at the distribution center.* Pay rate: $21.00 per hour and 4 months of employment - $23.00 per hour.* CLASS A-REQUIRED.* Must be able to drive to other DC's and/or rescues.* Seeking a person with flexibility to cover other shifts due to vacation/floaters and possible overtime as needed.* Starting Schedule: Thurs/Fri set days off 1 day shift 2 mids 2 evening/night.* Generous benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance and company-paid life insurance start on your 60th day.* 401(k) with annual company match starts on your 90th day.* Paid holidays, vacation time, educational assistance program, and more!Job Description:* Drive and maneuver tractor trailers to specified doors or lot locations. * Inspect trailers for defects pre- and post-trip and submit inspection reports. * Monitor the status of loaded trailers. * Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.Qualifications:* At least 21 years of age. * Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A) required. * At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor trailer driving experience. * Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications. * Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws. * All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
