You will join a high-performing team that is dedicated to sustainability and passionate about our people, operations, communities and products.About this opportunity The Plate Mounter prepares and places cylinders, mandrels, and sleeves on mounter, this includes laying backing cutting for different lengths, and laying on sleeve. When job is finished, stripping plates off of plate sleeves, cleaning plate in plate washer, and placing sleeve in proper storage location. This position reports to the Printing Manager.What you will do* Follows all TC safety and work procedures to ensure a safe, productive work environment; checks to ensure all safety guards are in place and working properly* Prepares sleeves for operations, mounting plates, receiving plates and inventorying plates* Stores plates in proper location in an organized manner* Checks schedule and completes work according to work orders/job packets* Sets up the mounter for new designs* Understands and completes all paperwork related Mounting operations* Sets up jobs on Mounting equipment to the ordered specifications* Completes sticky back inventory* Troubleshoots and resolves operational issues with the Mounting equipment* Understands and performs all quality checks; identifies and eliminates quality defects* Completes tasks and produces quality product in a timely manner* Ensures work area is kept clean according to facility standards* Participates in Continuous Improvement initiatives* Completes a minimum of one safety behavior observation/near miss report each month* Position requires flexibility to include shift changes and overtime; must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as required* Ability to see colors; visual acuity to see major and minor imperfections in products* Lifts up to 40 pounds* Regular, predictable, and reliable attendance* Performs other duties as assigned* Supports and contributes to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards.
