Job Description:
HelloTech, a leader in nationwide in-home tech support, is
seeking a HelloTech Support Specialist to join our dynamic team.
This role is centered on providing exceptional technical assistance
directly within customers' homes, solving issues ranging from TV
mounting to complex smart home system installations. Ideal
candidates will be deeply passionate about technology, have
excellent problem-solving skills, and possess the ability to
communicate complex technical details in an understandable manner.
This position offers a unique opportunity to bring tech solutions
directly to the consumer, enhancing their day-to-day lives through
technology. Travel to clients' locations to provide direct
technical support and installation services. Diagnose and resolve
technical issues with consumer electronics and smart home devices.
Educate customers on device setup, functionality, and maintenance
to ensure a seamless user experience. Install and configure
software and hardware systems, ensuring full integration in diverse
tech environments. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest
technologies and provide recommendations to clients about potential
upgrades or new products. Record customer interactions, processes,
and effective solutions into the support database. Collaborate with
tech teams to enhance service techniques and overall customer
satisfaction. Strong familiarity with consumer electronics and
smart home technology. Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic
skills. Ability to handle tools and devices for installation
processes. Professional disposition and ability to work directly
with customers in their homes. Strong communication and teaching
skills to educate clients on technology uses. CompTIA IT
Fundamentals (ITF) Certified Information Systems Security
Professional (CISSP) - optional but advantageous.
