Position: Oracle Business AnalystLocation: Ontario, CA - Hybrid remote, but candidate must be near OntarioSalary: $120k to $130k per year
Per clients request, all candidate must be US or GC holder. Client will not sponsor Visas.

The IT Business Analyst for Finance will be responsible for the daily support of the Oracle Finance applications (GL, AR, AP, FA, OPM, Property Management, Costing, Billbacks), and addressing and resolving Oracle application issues in a timely manner. He/She will also be responsible to analyze the current financial processes in the system and propose solution options to improve them. This can be the implementation of new standard or custom functionality in Oracle, or the design of new reports (Discoverer/BI/OBIEE). Client is currently operating on Oracle R12 eBusiness suite. The analyst should be able to work independently and as part of the IT team to efficiently support the business systems.

Experience and Skill Requirements-- At least 5 year of system production support experience covering the major R12 Oracle Financial modules (AR, AP, GL, FA, OPM Costing, Sub-Ledger Accounting), or a minimum of 2 full life cycle R12 Oracle implementations as Finance analyst-- In depth knowledge of Oracle ERP concepts, systems and financial business processes-- Ability to design and configure Oracle EBS R12 AR, AP, GL, FA, OPM Costing, Sub-Ledger Accounting (SLA) applications -- Solid understanding of General Ledger module - account balances, journal entries, account reconciliation, period close, financial reporting, intercompany accounting-- Good understanding of Invoice to Payment process flow in AP, AP check runs, Order to Cash process flow in AR, Autoinvoice rules and ability to customize invoicing process, AR Lockbox process-- Good understanding of standard Fixed Assets module processes and integration with other modules-- Experience with accounting process in Oracle Process Manufacturing module, Oracle Property Management module and ASC 842 standard for lease compliance is a big plus-- Experience with Oracle EBS 12.2.X or with upgrade from Oracle EBS 12.0 to 12.2.X is preferred-- Ability to coordinate and support period close processes and assist divisional Finance teams with month-end account reconciliation efforts-- Experience with using Oracle reporting solutions like BI publisher, OBIEE and Discoverer and ability to guide development team on reporting requirements-- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in a timely manner, and to work against tight deadlines.-- Ability to quickly understand the integration points between Oracle Applications and other peripheral applications-- Basic SQL knowledge for troubleshooting and data extracts-- Sound Project Management skills with ability to work individually with minimal supervision as well as part of the team on projects and initiatives as required-- Ability to identify, design, develop, support, and communicate improvement opportunities with appropriate business case justifications -- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to build and foster effective relationships with internal customers

Education:Business degree in Accounting, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience
