Aspire Bakeries champions the values of Integrity, Ownership, Customer Focus, Creativity and Care to help us deliver on People Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Collaboration.As an HR Coordinator, you will assist in maintaining the organization s Human Resources functions and processes by implementing and evaluating employee relations and program policies for the Ontario and Santa Ana Bakeries. You will work closely with the HR Manager and other team members to ensure a positive and productive work environment for all employees. You will also have the opportunity to travel to both bakeries as business needs require.Responsibilities: Assists accurate data is provided for new hires, and employee personal data changes, and sends all pay-related information to HR Data Management. Assist in scheduling and conducting all new hire orientations in English and Spanish Assists with coordinating and scheduling interviews for management. Initiates and completes all required documentation for onboarding and forwards to the Data Management Services Center (DMSC) Assist time and attendance process for all employees which includes validation of timecards, approving and signing off for payroll processing.
Participates in the planning of social events, holiday lunches, and award luncheons.
Assists in all employee engagement activities and initiates.
Assists HR Manager in processing terminations, final pay notifications, termination paperwork, etc.
Maintain workers comp database by entering cases for OSHA compliance.
Assists in Open Enrollment; executes Spanish meetings for all shifts. Primary receptionist backup. Promotes company initiatives such as AARC, EAP, Payroll initiatives, and other company objectives.
Participates in other related projects as assigned. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships and two-way communications with co-workers and other personnel throughout the Company.
Partners with all levels of leaders of operations to support operations functions.
Assists in audit preparedness and support.
Maintain all personnel documents to be filed.
Assists in intake of employee relation concerns.
Assist in managing workers comp reporting and case handling. Qualifications: Preferred level of education- Bachelor s Degree.Area of Specialization/Degree- Business Management, Human Resources or related area 5-7 Years of HR experience preferred Excellent oral and written communications skills, including the ability to clearly and concisely answer questions and convey information to employees & management team. Multi-tasking & organization & planning skills are important since interruptions are frequent, and advanced & impromptu deadlines require decision-making. Takes responsibility for local HR activities; makes self-available to employees & the management team Effective time management skills, including the ability to prioritize workload to meet key deadlines. Experience with applications and operation of HRIS software, such as Success Factors & ADP is helpful Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Internet fluency. Bilingual preferredSalary Range:$38,400- $56,056Aspire Bakeries LLC values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. The final determination of a successful candidate s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, shift, education, skill, and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed In this specific job description.
