Description: Our client is a Hispanic brand for frozen novelty treats. They are a food manufacturing company seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their growing team! This position will report onsite at their corporate office in Ontario, California. Candidates who are Bilingual in Spanish are highly preferred. For immediate consideration please email your resume to: Human Resources ManagerThe Human Resources Manager will serve as a key business partner, reporting directly Human Resource Director in executing talent strategy, managing policies/procedures, and ensuring compliance. This position facilitates the development of a positive culture and is responsible for securing and maintaining a productive, diverse, and engaged workforce comprised of the best talent. This highly visible role provides a broad range of HR support to leadership functions and effectively maintains the integrity and quality of HR programs; ensuring consistency throughout the organization. The HR Manager provides tactical and strategic support in the areas of employee relations and development, performance management, succession planning, as well as talent engagement and retention strategies. Direct Reports: 1 Direct Report-Recruiter Key Performance Areas Talent Management
--- Partner with Plant Manager and functional managers to ensure proper workforce planning as well as role and responsibility alignment.
--- Collaborate with HR Director and Corporate Human Resources to develop and execute creative recruitment and pipeline building strategies to attract solid talent and future "People Leaders".
--- Manage full cycle Recruiter responsible for maintaining job descriptions and FLSA classifications, delivering pre-hire skills testing, tracking key talent acquisition metrics, and conducting productive exit interviews.
--- Partner with Training Manager to schedule and facilitate the new employee onboarding and integration process.
--- Identify and drive learning and development efforts to build and support the growth of top talent within the organization.Employee Relations
--- Serve as a primary compliance partner and consultant to leaders regarding employee relations.
--- Partner with managers on leadership and employee development initiatives.
--- Coordinate with the Training Manager on training to ensure Company compliance.Performance Management
--- Communicate and administer an on-going performance management program using company delivered tools.
--- Drive strategies to develop bench-strength and succession plans.
--- Partner with leaders on all corrective action, PIP's, IDP's and goal settingTotal Rewards
--- Partner with Compensation and Benefits Analyst to communicate benefits, compensation and recognition.
--- Partner with Compensation and Benefits Analyst to hold and manage the annual employee open enrollment presentations.
--- Communicate and facilitate the leave of absence program.
--- Monitor wage and hour rules, ensuring uniformity of compensation protocols and compliance with federal, state and local laws.
--- Champion people initiatives - collaborate with Committee on employee recognition awards/events to increase engagement and boost retention.
--- Collaborate with Corporate Safety Manager on workers compensation, health and wellness initiatives.Change Management
--- Responsible for overall HR project management and direction for transition and integration activities.
--- Support change management and communication practices to help continue HR transformations.
--- Build change agility to accelerate HR transformation efforts.Compliance
--- Work closely with management and employees to provide guidance regarding policies, procedures, state, and federal regulatory compliance requirements.
--- Maintain employee files ensuringndocuments and manuals are kept current, accurate, confidential and in compliance with company policies and government regulations.
--- Communicate and execute necessary changes to policies and procedures.
--- Perform audit and compliance functions as requested on items such as audit reports verification, commission reports and payroll information.
--- Manage the annual EEO-1 collection and reporting process.Payroll
--- Review payroll changes with platform payroll administrator.
--- Other duties as assignedJob Requirements
--- Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business administration or a related field; certification in Human Resources preferred.
--- Minimum 10+ years of progressive human resources experience, preferably in manufacturing, production, or a related industry. Demonstrated knowledge of employment law, regulations, and statutes, safety, and training.
--- Extensive working knowledge of California and Federal labor law, wage & hour, FLSA, EEO, FMLA and workers compensation.
--- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
--- Demonstrated strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRM systems.
--- Strong analytical skills and theability to consolidate data into concise, executive-ready presentations and reports.
--- Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure; ability to prioritize and organize effectively; ability to show judgment and initiative.
--- Demonstrated ability confidentiality, professionalism, and decorum.Key Competencies
