35.29 Summary: Presbyterian Hospital is hiring skilled Licensed
Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our Med-Surg team. Our
Medical-Surgical Unit is a vital part of our hospital, offering a
dynamic and supportive environment where LPNs are valued members of
the care team. The LPN will work under the supervision of RNs and
physicians to provide direct patient care, support recovery, and
ensure a safe and healing environment for patients with a variety
of medical and post-surgical needs. Provides direct patient care in
the acute care setting in the inpatient area utilizing various
nursing skills and established standards of care at the direction

Opportunity: Full time FTE: 0.9 Job Exempt: No Work Shift: 12 Hour
Days (United States of America) Responsibilities: • Assist in
Administer prescribed medications, injections, and IV therapies
under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or
physician.dressing changes, wound care, and post-surgical care
according to physician orders. • Observe and report changes in
patient conditions, including symptoms, reactions to treatments, or
changes in vital signs. • Work closely with RNs, physicians, and
other members of the healthcare team to implement individualized
care plans for patients. • Provide patients and families with
instructions regarding post-discharge care, medication regimens,
and follow-up appointments. • Adhere to infection control
protocols, including proper hand hygiene, use of personal
protective equipment (PPE), and sterile techniques. Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED •Nursing Diploma •Licensed Practical
Nurse-NM or out of state compact LPN license •BLS required at time
