LifePoint is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel
nursing job in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Job Description &
Requirements Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Duration: 12 weeks 36
hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel We are
seeking an experienced and adaptable CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) to
join our high-acuity cardiovascular care team on the day shift.
This role is ideal for a nurse with strong critical care skills, a
passion for cardiac care, and the flexibility to float as needed.
Travel nursing experience is highly valued. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to critically
ill cardiovascular patients. Monitor and manage patients post-CABG,
TAVR, STEMI, and other complex cardiac procedures. Interpret
telemetry and hemodynamic data, titrate critical drips, and manage
advanced life support equipment. Collaborate with physicians and
interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized
care plans. Educate patients and families on treatment plans,
recovery expectations, and discharge instructions. Accurately
document all care provided in the electronic health record (EHR).
Float to other critical care units as required by the scheduled
rotation. Must-Have Skills & Experience: Minimum 1.5 years of CVICU
or ICU experience Prior travel nursing experience Strong clinical
judgment and adaptability in high-pressure environments Required
Certifications: BLS – Basic Life Support ACLS – Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support CCRN – Critical Care Registered Nurse
(preferred) Float Requirements: Must be willing and able to float
to other units per scheduled rotation Education: Associate Degree
in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred Current and valid RN
license in the state of Arizona or compact state Personality Fit:
