opportunity to join us:THE ROLE:We're looking for a problem solver
with experience in bicycle maintenance. The Electric Bicycle
Mechanic demands a self-starting, challenge-seeking individual who
can look at their work like it's solving a puzzle to be put
together and is excited by his type of environment. We're looking
for someone who is process-driven, detail oriented, and organized,
but also excited to roll up their sleeves and get their hands
dirty.Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Bicycle Mechanic is
responsible for the following:Assemble bikes and perform quality
control checks, reporting any possible QC issues to upper
managementRepair e-bikes to the highest of standards; assessing
wear and tear, accidental damage, or ongoing warranty issuesReview
quality documentation and update as necessaryAssist in the
troubleshooting process for customer and product support teams,
support in the creation and maintenance of training documents for
product-specific informationTrain Bike Technicians on builds and
other mechanical processes for our product lineAssist with
maintaining a consistent inventory; ordering parts when
necessaryCreate feedback loops with the relevant stakeholders;
improving and iterating on our existing processes and policiesYOUR
QUALIFICATIONS:2 years of relevant experience e.g., bicycles
(electric or not), automotive, motorcycles, etcWorking knowledge of
how bikes are assembled and repairedWorking knowledge of how to fix
the electric components of a bike is highly preferredA passion for
bikes, micro mobility, e-mobility, and/or techAbility to
communicate clearly and concisely, whether written or oral, in
order to collaborate, train, and document processes.KEYS TO
