Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A K-7 classical charter school in Parker, CO, is
seeking a Special Education Teacher to join their dedicated team
for the current school year contract, starting ASAP through May
29th. This opportunity offers the chance to impact a diverse group
of scholars in a supportive and collaborative environment. Key
Responsibilities: Collaborate with the existing Special Education
Teacher to split a current caseload of approximately 27 students,
with the potential for increase following ongoing evaluations.
Provide specialized instruction and support for students in grades
4-7, adapting to the needs of a varied grade range within a K-7
school. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including a
School Psychologist, Speech-Language Pathologist, and Occupational
Therapist to develop and implement individualized education plans
(IEPs). Utilize the WIAT assessment tool for academic testing and
progress monitoring. Engage with the classical education model and
adapt teaching methods to align with the schools philosophy and
curriculum. Participate in ongoing professional development and
team meetings to ensure high-quality support for scholars.
Qualifications and Experience: Valid Special Education teaching
certification. Experience working with students across elementary
and middle school grade levels, preferably grades 4-7. Familiarity
with assessment tools such as the WIAT is a plus. Ability to
collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Willingness to learn and adapt to a classical charter school
system. Commitment to providing student-centered, individualized
instruction. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
