Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 school setting in Henderson, NV. This role requires an on-site commitment with no virtual or hybrid options. The assignment is contract-based, spanning from the current date through May 22, 2026. Qualifications and Requirements: - Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology completed. - Active Nevada Department of Education certification. - Active Nevada Speech-Language Pathologist license. - Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF) are considered; however, preference is given to licensed SLPs holding Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). - Immediate full-time availability. - Willingness to undergo district-coordinated fingerprinting. - Experience with school-age children across K-12 is preferred but caseload specifics will vary. Responsibilities: - Deliver speech and language evaluations and therapy services to students within assigned schools. - Collaborate with educators and support staff to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). - Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and compliance with district expectations. - Participate in meetings and interviews as part of the districts hiring and placement procedures. Location: Henderson, Nevada assignments within the greater Las Vegas area. Additional Information: Work is strictly on-site with full-time hours required. The district conducts interviews directly and prefers quick response and availability for prescreen interviews. Caseload sizes and exact school assignments will vary based on district needs. Bilingual clinicians may be eligible for additional compensation.
